Not only are these both affordable and accessible, they will last up to five years when the device is left in standby mode. AED maintenance is made even easier because the CPR-D adult electrode also lasts five years. No confusion, no hassle. With the lowest 10 year cost of ownership on the market, it is also an economical choice for facilities.

Benefits:

  1. CPR Feedback: Gives real-time feedback, telling the rescuer “Good Compressions” or “Push Harder.”
  2. CPR Compression Display: Bar graph shows the user how hard they are pushing.
  3. One-piece pad: Quick pad placement directly in the center of the patient’s chest
  4. 5-Year expiration date on both the batteries and CPR-d Padz

A Complete Road Map for Resuscitation

A picture can be priceless. The AED Plus’ one of a kind graphical interface – pictures supplemented with text displays and voice prompts – empowers rescuers during every step they take. Lights on the pictures focus the rescuer’s attention on actions to be taken in the required sequence. Text as well as voice prompts correspond to the images and enable the rescuer to carry out each important life-saving action. The images and prompts increase the probability that each procedure is done in correct sequence, and that if shocks are required they are delivered rapidly.

Interactive Feedback for Rate and Depth

Inadequate compression rate and depth are not uncommon during CPR. Adult victims require compressions at a rate of 100 per minute at a depth of 2 inches. Compressions must be done effectively to get blood and oxygen moving optimally. ZOLL’s Real CPR Help converts compression data instantaneously from the CPR-D padz, and provides an adaptive metronome to help the rescuer provide proper rate and depth, saying “Push harder” or “Good compressions,” as needed. It also displays CPR compression depth on the monitor. ZOLL’s AED Plus is the only AED that can see chest compressions and guide to the correct rate and depth during CPR.

Consumer Battery Powered for Convenience and Savings

The AED Plus gets its power from over the counter consumer lithium batteries. Replacement is uncomplicated and these batteries last up to five years in stand-by mode.

The Chain of Survival

Approximately half of unresponsive collapsed victims need defibrillation, and all require CPR. Following the Chain of Survival demands more than simply attaching electrodes and administering a shock. From checking responsiveness, summoning help, to CPR and defibrillation, the ZOLL AED Plus with Real CPR Help can effectively guide the rescuer through the entire process to rescue SCA victims.
